Tactical Amnesia / Temporal Suture
Installed in a defunct dark room 'Tactical Amnesia/ Temporal Suture' used text and image to create an investigative piece, working with and exploring the context of an abandoned space. Using images and text generated in the American West, the installation inhabited various parts of the darkroom infrastructure, momentarily high lighted by the projectors and red lights in the room. Text by Joseph Masco, Jean Baudrillard floated in the developing tank, disintegrating in the water. The grainy images half hidden in the dark and the disintegrating text, became a breaking down the hierarchy between text and image.
